Style Fashion Week LA had their own six days events for the third season this March, with catwalks at Vibiana’s cathedral, located at 214 S. Main Street downtown Los Angeles. The Fall 2012 collections were presented by some of the most sought after designers recognized both nationally and internationally from Los Angeles, New York to Dubai.

Closing night, March 16th was dedicated to the American Heart Association, and the Go Red for Women Celebrity Red Dress Fashion Show.

Style Fashion week kicked off with a VIP industry reception in a Bel Air private home  to benefit Hollywood Arts, and to promote the upcoming Getty exhibition  ”Herb Ritts: L.A. Style”.  It’s a seductive collection of portraits and nudes from the famed fashion photographer. The exhibition will open up at the Getty Center, April 3rd and run through August 26th 2012. A rare glimpse at the original cover art from famed Beatles Illustrator Alan Aldridge was also on display, and the sculptures of artist Niki Sabet.

In addition, the opening reception featured a Gibson guitar performance from Tim Blane, tasting of Louis XIII cognac, and handcrafted artisan chocolates by Knipschildt.

Cuisine was provided by French Master Chef Philippe Forcioli of Orient Express, and a chocolate fountain by Brunch Butler.

Jean Georges and Cipriani & Vintage Yachting Club were offering memberships to their elite global yachting.
